Techno, texture, and a delayed decision

BIO

I’ve been writing electronic music for over 20 years — quietly, inconsistently, mostly for myself and occasionally to melt a few friends’ heads. I never officially released anything. Never really planned to.

The System Dreams in Static came together during lockdown with no grand vision. Just something to focus on — a patchwork of old loops, dusty field recordings, and half-finished sketches that finally found their way into shape. And then it sat on a hard drive. For years.

But with my band finally doing stuff again, it gave me the nudge I needed to get this thing out there before it got buried under whatever comes next.

It’s techno-soaked, glitchy, ambient, with the odd sprinkle of house. A bit rough round the edges. Some of it’s sad. Some of it’s just texture and drift. Music for headphones, static-filled rooms, and nights where everything feels slightly off.
