Hekatones is an instrumental rhythm section performing original music inspired by ska, rocksteady, roots reggae and dub – with influences from jazz, folk and psychedelia. Formed and led by bassist George Berrills (of dub group Resonators), this release contains the debut EP (with a track featuring Bunty of Resonators) on side one, plus the dub version of the EP on side two. All tracks mixed by Eeyun Purkins (Waggle Dance Records).
