The ‘Take Me Home’ EP is a collection of songs recorded in Alfie’s bedroom by Alfie and Jack, following the departure of original bassist ‘Harry Quinn’.
When everybody thought it was the end of Torus, we took stock, brushing ourselves down making our return with riff heavy single ‘Solitary’ proving that we could indeed come back stronger on our own terms, and then following up with a series of singles that tell the story of how our year played out.
Straight after that we had an unexpected viral blowup of our cover of Billie Eilish‘s ‘Ocean Eyes’ with over 2 million streams and counting, leading onto ‘Ruby Red’, ‘Fall On Me’, ‘Take Me Home’ as well welcoming in our new bass player Cameron Bell and finally ‘All Alone’ that came out alongside the EP.
The ‘Take Me Home’ EP is a story of progression and new beginnings, the bond and friendship, within the band and this new exciting era for Torus moving forwards and embracing the journey.
