“We spent our youth watching their shows and marveling at how a band from where we lived could be touring the world and signing to major labels.

Their last record was 2008 and they split not long afterwards. We’ve had other bands visit over the years, looking around in awe that they are playing the city that The Research came from.

But of all the greats, they felt least likely to return.

And yet, it’s happening!

A chance conversation here, a well timed text message there and we worked our magic.

It’s such an honour to have them play the last Long Division festival. We can’t promise they won’t get swept up in the joy of it all and end up planning a six month UK tour, but as it stands, this is currently the only show they have planned.”
