Set up in 2023 to champion emerging and unsigned Progressive Rock Bands from the world over.

Wild Thyme Records, harking back to the folk and pastoral roots of the progressive movement and under the directorship of Richard Swan, is the new home for those bands wishing to release limited runs on vinyl.

The vinyl format is truly on the return and many of us of a certain age still have decades-old collections ranging from a few treasured possessions to huge numbers of records.

Whilst Progressive Rock bands have been ever present, fending off challenges from many other genres (not least punk in the late 70’s), both new and established progressive rock bands have gained enormous traction and popularity.

Always a challenge to finance these projects, Fairsound and Press-On-Vinyl provide that opportunity.

And Wild Thyme Records is the new collective, the new stable if you will, for Progressive Rock bands to release their hard efforts on the enduring, beautiful, tactile music format that is vinyl, with artwork and printed lyric sheets close at hand for the full music experience.
